Summer’s not over yet! But we can help ease you into fall with our music—which, let’s face it, is pretty autumnal for the most part.

On September 7, we’ll be playing at the Painted Ship in Kitsilano. For those who aren’t schooled on Vancouver’s pop-culture history, Kitsilano (a.k.a. Khatsahlano or “Kits”) was the epicentre of local hippiedom in the 1960s, and the venue is in fact named after a pioneering Vancouver garage-rock band of the era.
We are still waiting to hear who else will be on the bill that night. Definitely not the Painted Ship, since they’re not around anymore. But watch this space to find out more.
Say you read this blog post and we’ll give you a free piece of Starling Effect merch!
